Dry Cut Strand Pelletizing Systems

JSG plants are automatic strand pelletizing systems. The polymer strands are automatically transported towards the cutting head during the start-up process; in case of strand breakage the strands are fed automatically. The constellation of the JSG system allows the adaptation to standard working heights of most commonly used extruders, at the same time with a pelletizer with standard working height. The throughput range of JSG systems depends on polymer characteristics and pellet dimensions and can even exceed 9 tons/hr. The most important application for this plant constellation is the production of medium to large sized runs of filled or reinforced compounds.
